This is the scrapbook photographed frame by frame. The book at
Rose's Highway Inn Scrapbook reads the same pages in order with their
transcriptions; this album is for looking rather than reading.
Thirty-eight frames were shot and thirty-five are published. Three are second
exposures of pages already here — the silver anniversary invitation, the
“Chicken is our specialty” menu spread and the wedding-reception
typescript — and each is held back in favour of the better exposure of the same
page. Nothing in the scrapbook is missing from this album.
The frames are shown as captured: page curvature, the edge of the binder and
the occasional hand are part of the photograph, not faults in it.
