Janice Diem

Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna, drained
  • 1 c. shredded process sharp American cheese
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut in about 1/4-inch cubes
  • 1/4 c. thinly sliced green onions (if desired)
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • dash nutmeg

Method

  1. Heat oven to 400°. Lightly grease pie plate 10 x 1 1/2 inches.
  2. Mix tuna, cheese and onions in pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high speed or 1 minute with hand beater. Pour into pie plate. Bake until knife inserted halfway in between center and edge comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Refrigerate any remaining pie. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
